ALLYSON R. CUMMINGS

Originally from Las Vegas, Nevada, Allyson Cummings has lived in four different states and has worked several jobs in the media industry.
Most recently known as a Weather Anchor/MMJ, Allyson lived in Great Falls, Montana and tackled the active weather scene for ABC/Fox Montana. She also had several noteworthy assignments, including live election coverage in 2018, and several special projects for the station. Before arriving in Montana, she was a morning news producer and sports desk reporter for 23ABC in Bakersfield, California. In addition to producing the morning newscasts, she would also cover breaking news when necessary. Bakersfield had its fair share of breaking news, where she covered dozens of structure fires and shootings in the area. She also helped kickstart the Motor City Sports Desk, which was a brand new segment starting in 2017. While still in college, Allyson produced the Friday evening "Arizona Horizon" show on Arizona PBS in 2015. She was also the intermission reporter for ASU D1 Ice Hockey, and covered ASU football on occasion for Cronkite News. Her work has been picked up by Fox Sports Arizona, ABC 15 in Phoenix, College Hockey News, and the Pac-12 Networks. Allyson also helped with social media during Super Bowl XLIX in Glendale, AZ. With an interest in public speaking, Allyson placed top ten in the nation for prepared speech in the 2012 annual Skills U.S.A. competition with a motivational speech. She was 18-years-old. |
